Experience and Supervision
With over eight years of experience in diverse settings such as county jails, schools, family homes, and private practice, Corinna has developed a unique skill set tailored to supporting clients through complex challenges. She has extensive experience working with biological, adopted, and foster children, along with their families, to navigate issues related to trauma, family dynamics, and emotional well-being. Currently, Corinna focuses on providing individual therapy for young adults dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and life transitions.

In addition to her work with clients, Corinna is deeply passionate about her role as a supervisor at Leavitt Marriage and Family Therapy. She thrives on mentoring associate therapists and is dedicated to creating an engaging and supportive environment for her colleagues. Corinna prioritizes collaboration, professional growth, and cultivating clinical skills, empowering newer therapists to provide the highest quality care to their clients. She views supervision as an opportunity not only to guide but also to inspire confidence, creativity, and resilience in her supervisees.

Therapeutic Approach
Corinna’s therapeutic approach is grounded in attachment theory and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on fostering self-acceptance and healing. She specializes in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapies, helping clients explore relational traumas from childhood and reprocess those experiences to create healthier self-perceptions and stronger connections with loved ones. Her compassionate and empowering methodology supports clients in embracing all parts of themselves, leading to transformative growth and improved relationships.

Outside of Therapy
Corinna is an advocate for continuous learning and development, both for herself and for those she supervises. When not working with clients or colleagues, she enjoys spending time with her family, exploring nature, and finding inspiration in the small moments of connection and growth that life offers.
